Here's some jacka** at the top of a mountain - a Buddhist shrine at a temple in Thailand - standing there in his sweaty UNDERWEAR after climbing the mountain. You can see - there are Thai kids around - they must have been HORRIFIED that someone could do this at their Buddhist temple - but of course they would say nothing.

Tourists come to Buddhist temples in Bikini tops, guys climb this mountain with their shirts off... girls wear bikini bottoms with a t-shirt over top... people ignore the signs about taking their shoes off when they climb to the top level of the temple - and walk around with shoes on in this sacred spot... and now this...

If you're coming to Thailand and you plan on visiting a Buddhist temple, think of it as the Vatican in Rome. Wear something appropriate, it's not a goddamned nudist beach. This clown wouldn't take his shorts and shirt off at ANY Catholic church - and here he is virtually naked at a sacred spot in Thailand.

Tourists like this can stay at home - nobody needs them.

This is one of the most deadly snakes in Thailand, and is one of the top 5 causes of death by snake envenomation in Thailand. It is an urban myth that any snake causes death within two steps of biting you. It just cannot happen, even if you're allergic to the venom and go into shock. You still could walk for a while.

The banded krait is related to the cobra, it is front fanged and has venom which affects neuron transmission. The venom doesn't cause much localized damage, you may not have much or any necrosis at the bite site, however, the venom causes the body to start shutting down. Muscles like eyelids and facial muscles are affected quickly. The diaphragm and heart, later. Gone untreated, a good bite by this snake will result in death.

Banded kraits are active at night, and their disposition changes - they are on the hunt and more aggressive. They bite rather easily at night. Thais that sleep on the floor of their homes, with doors open, or on the porch or elsewhere a krait could get to them - often roll over onto one - and are bitten. Some don't even know what bit them, and they die because they didn't visit the hospital.

These kraits are more common in the northeast of Thailand, near the rice fields. I have only seen one of these kraits dead on the road, near a rubber tree plantation in Surat Thani.

I know one man that was bitten by a banded krait at a show in Bangkok at a bar. He nearly died, but recovered almost fully after 2 years. The venom is very potent. Don't handle them in the day or night - you never know - is the krait sick or very agitated at the moment? It could bite during the daytime too.

Abhinna (Abijna, Abhinnanana) is not well known, even inside Buddhist groups. Translated as "Direct knowledge" or "Direct knowing" - Like Jhana, Abhinna is a state of mind that seems to defy reality.

There is something that happens as you meditate and progress. When you're getting fourth jhana you may notice that you have some strange abilities. It is like supernatural power. It sounds bizarre, but it couldn't be more real. It's astounding - quite frankly. Here is my experience with this abhinna - knowing minds.

Video 1 of this amazing red-headed krait from southern Thailand. The Bungarus flaviceps has not been studied very much, due to it's rarity. The venom is assumed very deadly, and close in strength to the Blue Krait (Malayan Krait), Many Banded Krait, and Banded Krait venom.

This snake did not attempt to strike or bite. It did not hide it's head under it's body like Banded Kraits. It moved slowly.

In the past I had a wicked case of carpal tunnel. I was months away from making an appointment to have operations on both wrists to fix it. The nerves throbbed all the time. I felt like I was crippled. Then I took a year off the computer when I moved to Thailand. My wrists felt better. From that point on I used a new style of typing, and I have not used a desktop keyboard at all.

This video is an attempt at showing you the new style I use. I type a LOT everyday, and still - no pain in my wrists at all from carpal tunnel pain.

Try it and see if it helps you. Better than an operation anyway!

Visited my old home town, Ubon Ratchathani, recently. Here is the hotel I stayed at for 700 THB per night - including breakfast. Hint - do not grab eggs from the food table, as they are NOT hardboiled, they are raw and you'll ruin everything on your plate trying to crack what you think is a hardboiled egg when it goes all runny on your stuff.

Letting this gravid wolf snake go at the base of a mountain chain in Krabi, Thailand. Great snakes, biters, rear fanged and basically harmless to humans. These are common in southern Thailand.

My focus on this is horrible... I was using a 1.8F stop - by accident. Sorry about that.
